Remanufacturing Manager

  • Manage remanufacturing disassembly, cleaning, parts assessment, and machining;
  • Monitor and maintain the training and development of talent resources;
  • Lead and conduct Kaizen events, and implement 5S methodologies;
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential;
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles across the remanufacturing processes;
  • Evaluate facility, equipment, tooling and manpower to accomplish operational goals and objectives: applying knowledge of design, tooling, and materials;
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency, production methods, equipment performance and quality;
  • Oversee and review production costs to maintain and enhance profitable operation;
  • Oversee the optimization of remanufacturing processes to ensure performance is in accordance with ISO business system / quality requirements, and profitability targets;
  • Manage and coordinate with other departments to increase the performance of remanufacturing, and mitigate performance issues to assure engines, components, and parts availability to the production assembly stock;
  • Create and maintain analytical tools to track performance and foster effective decision-making outcomes and incentivize employees to perform at a high level; and
  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.

Requirements:

U.S. Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering; 48 months of experience as Manufacturing Engineer; the position also requires the following:

  • Experience with ERP system and Project Management, Reporting Tools (e.g. Jira);
  • Strong skills with Assembly, Tooling and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality,  Production Reports and Metrics;
  • Experience with process development; 
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles; and
  • Experience with conducting Kaizen events, and implement 5S methodologies.

8:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.
